GASpreneur network
The last mile is a network, not a delivery.
GASpreneurs are retailers in the communities we serve. They hold pre-filled cylinders and exchange them with the households on their book, so nobody runs out and nobody has to leave the ward to refill. We build a minimum of ten in every ward we open.

The arithmetic
Ten million households, divided until it is a job somebody can do.
A national number is impossible to act on. So we divide it twice, and what comes out the other end is one retailer with a book of neighbours.
Nobody works on ten million. The unit of work is one ward, and the job in a ward is the same job 8,809 times over.
1,000+ GASpreneurs trading today. 100,000 at full network scale.
Why the network has to exist
Without this network, a converted household goes back.
A cylinder sold is not a household transitioned. If the refill is not there in the ward, within the day, at a price the household planned for, then charcoal is. Switching a household is the easy half. Keeping it switched is the supply chain, and the supply chain is what we build.
- Household buys a cylinder
- It runs out, and no refill is within reach or the price has moved
- Charcoal is on the corner, and the household does not try again
- Household buys a cylinder
- It runs low, and the retailer who sold it is a short walk away holding stock
- Empty out, full in, the same day, and it repeats every month
Why ten and not one
One retailer covers a street. Ten cover a ward.
Reach on foot
A household has to get to stock on the day the gas runs out. One retailer in a ward leaves half the ward too far away to bother.
No single point of failure
Retailers travel, close and sell out. With ten in a ward the household still refills that day. With one, the first shut door sends it back to charcoal.
It is what the target requires
8,809 wards at ten each is 88,090 retailers. The 100,000 target is that floor plus the headroom a denser ward needs.
A minimum of 10 GASpreneurs per ward is the standard a ward is opened against. The figures above are the ratios the network is built to rather than a record of what it delivers today.
How it works
From the terminal to the exchange at the door.
LPG arrives through import terminals and from domestic production. Our second-mile partner draws it down into bulk facilities. We fill, and we run the logistics that get pre-filled cylinders to the GASpreneurs, who exchange them with households. Five links, and the two in the middle are the ones that are usually missing.

Import terminals and domestic production
LPG arrives as imported cargo and from Nigerian production facilities.
- 02Run by our partners
Bulk facilities
Our second-mile distribution partner holds the product in bulk and draws it down from the terminals and the domestic producers.

Filling and logistics
Cylinders are filled, sealed and weight-checked, then moved out to the wards. This is the link that is missing almost everywhere else.

The GASpreneur
A retailer trading in the community, holding pre-filled cylinders and exchanging them with the households on their book.
- 05The household
The kitchen
An empty cylinder goes out, a full one comes back the same day. The household never reaches the bottom of the gas.
Who becomes one
We convert charcoal and firewood sellers into GASpreneurs.
The person who has sold a street its cooking fuel for fifteen years already has the customers, the location and the trust. Opening a gas business next door to them is a fight. Turning them into the gas business is not, and it takes the charcoal off the corner rather than adding gas beside it.
Supplying a street with the fuel that fills its kitchens with smoke.
Supplying the same street with clean cooking gas, on a chain that can keep delivering.
What you get
You bring the community. We bring everything behind it.
Stock at the door
Pre-filled cylinders delivered to where you trade, so you are never the one chasing supply.
Safety certification
Training on handling and storage before any stock is issued, and a numbered ID a household can check.
Households to serve
Verified households in your own community are adopted onto your book, and they refill with you.
A licensed chain behind you
You are the last link of a national supply chain, not a reseller buying wherever you can.

If you already sell to a community, whether that is charcoal, firewood, kerosene or anything else people buy every week, you are most of the way there. Send us a message and tell us where you trade.
The terms of the scheme are set out with you directly once we have spoken.
